Over the course of my legal career, I have made a point of working in a variety of different settings. In each, I learned different approaches to addressing client needs, whether the client was an individual, a family, a large Fortune 500 company, a small, locally-owned business or something in between.
By far, the most rewarding experience for me has been opening my own practice in Portland, Maine. Not because I can set my own hours and my office dress code includes jeans and L.L. Bean boots, but because it offers me the flexibility to provide my expertise and services to clients on terms and in ways that work for them.
Work long hours and can’t get away for a meeting? I make myself available outside the traditional 9 to 5 so that we can meet when it’s convenient for you. No stuffy wood-paneled downtown offices with expensive (or non-existent) parking, no exorbitant hourly rates, no nonsense. Just solid legal advice and representation without all the trappings. You don’t need a luxurious board room, and having a fancy office doesn’t make me a better lawyer. Thanks to my experience and technology, I can provide all of the service of a large law firm, with a personalized touch and at rates and terms that meet your needs.
And when I’m not tirelessly advocating for my clients, chances are you’ll find me around Portland, whether it’s on the ice playing hockey, as an off-ice official with the American Hockey League’s Portland Pirates or enjoying one of the many fantastic food and beverage options the City offers. Whether you’re local to Portland or from away, I’m always happy to meet, and I’ve found through extensive research that most legal issues are much less troubling when discussed over a lobster roll.
